22.08.13. Art day seven and a hint of autumn

Art day seven,

Southern France

Southern France

Am I the only person in the world that can make an automatic focusing camera shoot out of focus?

I blame the camera of course………….

What happened to washing machines that were programed to hot/warm/cool washes only? Or phones that just made phone calls? Or televisions that just, well, showed a TV program (I swear ours could probably make a cup of tea if I knew the right button to press).

Technology is not for the faint hearted…………but how wonderful it is to skype my daughter in France and to see my grandchild grow……………

There was a definite nip in the air this morning, which heralds autumn, ‘season of mellow fruitfulness’……………..and talking of fruit…….

Brand new acorn

Baby beech nut

Apples, almost ripe

Apples, almost ripe

And I say to myself “what a wonderful world………………..”

Art day eight tomorrow.
